Black and gray plaid button up neck scarf. Very unique!

I’ve never seen anything like this before! It feels like war and slides over your head and buttons up. Wear it inside of a coat or jacket for extra warmth. It’s sort of like a vest with no back. There is a little pocket on the front. No idea how old it is but I believe it to be vintage.
