"Bits of Old England" PLATE - Vernon Kilns No. 2. 8-1/2". Great shape. No cracks, chips or crazing.
The company, which started in 1912 in Vernon, California, was originally called Poxon China. In 1931 the company was sold and renamed Vernon Kilns. It made dinnerware and figurines until it went out of business in 1953. The molds were bought by Metlox, which continued to make some patterns.
