Beautiful Cobalt Blue Winter Wonderland Made In Germany Boot Mug 2009

This is a beautiful Mohaba-Glas GmbH+Co. Vintage 2009 Winterland Boot Mug.  The tradition of drinking beer from boot started in the military as a hazing ritual.   Young men were initiated into their troops by having to drink and entire boot of beer from the literal boot of a fellow soldier.   This ritual became one of pride and congratulations. They would be reward of drinking from the general's own boot for a battle won. Boots were later engraved and given as gifts. It is Colbalt Blue and is signed on the Handle. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.At the top of the handle is says 0,21 mo It is 4 inches tall and approximately 4 inches wide including the handle. It is hand painted in a Christmas Winterland theme. The colors are bright and stunning with no fading. It is in excellent condition with no stains or marks noted on the inside.
