This has never been melted or burned. I find I get more burn time from a B&BW candle when I keep the wicks trimmed and burn no more than 2-2.5 hrs per day. Item has been maintained in a smoke free home. ****I will place cotton balls between wax & lid to prevent wax from lifting off bottom of jar & moving in transit. Candle will be securely wrapped & packed to prevent any damage.
