I have never purchased or owned a pair of BROOKS, so when my BF gave these to me in boxes I assumed they were the ones these pairs originally came in. I just asked him & he told me he had just put them in the boxes from the new pairs he just bought. I do appreciate that you noticed so I can revise the listings, since my mother never taught me about men's athletic shoe styles. She did teach me manners though. Have a nice day! : D
