ashyb0o @chownini8 Letters and numbers are thicker and spread more widely on authentic bags and the font is slightly different. Your date code font is not in uniform with the date code in real LV purses. Also, the bag has multiple areas where the stitching is doubled, that’s another sign. Seems like a replica. If you have the actual receipt from LV, I’d be highly surprised. I think you just got duped into buying it. :/

chownini8 @camilamontoya56 you can always use fashionphiles to authenticate it / bring it back to the lv store / or if you join the lv groups on fb -> there are reputable Authenticators that is recommend ;)

ashyb0o @camilamontoya56 Well, I own a few real Louis Vuitton purses. I also have inquired some fake ones overtime, so it’s pretty easy to see the differences, especially side-by-side, between a real one and a replica. However, there’ are many things online that you can read that will tell you the differences. The date code especially, or the bright red lining, The stiching in places that it’s double stitched or not supposed to be. Even the count of the stitches. The Louis Vuitton © stamp.

ashyb0o @camilamontoya56 The tone of the hardware on the bag. Coloring coloring of the canvas being off, whether it’s too dark or too shiny. There are ton of reviews on YouTube, just simply do your own research and you’ll see..

ashyb0o @camilamontoya56 and of course you can always take the purse to Louis Vuitton as well, they’re not supposed to tell you whether it’s real or not, but they have way of explaining that this was not manufactured by them. ( If it isn’t.. ) Etc. Knowledge is power, research it. I just know that I won’t ever be purchasing another fake bag online again.
