B&G Denmark Plate - Amalienborg The Royal Palace - Jule Aften 1970

Bing and Grondahl has issued a Christmas plate every year since 1895. This commemorative plate, from 1970, was issued in observance of their 75th year of producing their Jule Aften, Danish Christmas Eve, decorative plates. The plate is done in their typical shades of blue and white. This plate features the Royal Castle Amalienorg. A horse and rider statue is featured in the foreground. The plate measures approximately 9" in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. This plate will be beautiful displayed on a wall or in a china cabinet.
