Dating anywhere from the 1930s (possibly true Art Deco earrings) to the 1950s (Art Deco Revival???) may I offer the most delightful pair of day and night earrings I could ever find! Day and Night? Yes, the bottoms come off the top shepherd hooks with ease so you can just wear the hooks or wear the combo - or swap out the floral hearts with something else - or turn the hearts into charms - maybe a charm and a pendant. Oh well, you get the picture! The heart drops have a floral inset highlighted with a ruby red stone - more than likely synthetic but entirely period appropriate. Oh, and the pieces are two tone gold - rose gold and yellow. Condition: Pristine! On the original sales card, the earrings were found just as you see them but with no indication of what the original price was (drat!). Metal Content: 14K Gold with very faint marks on the earwires - I can read only a single 4 on one earwire; 14K on the card (as pictured). Size: Shepherd hooks are just regular sized/adult sized. Hearts measure 13/16" x 3/4". Weight: 3.2 grams combined Final comments: I only have one pair!
