Hello, can you tell me more about this fabric? Looks like a knit? Weight? Is it 100% wool? I am interested but I do think your price is much to high. At this price you could buy one of their garments cheaper than making it. I do think they have gone out of business. Thanks

Hello, I need to know more about the fabric. Weight? Fiber content? Thanks

@annkbrowning sorry I didn't see a notification for your questions. Yes AppGear has gone out of business. This is from their 80 % Peruvian Alpaca and 20% Tencel. AppGear has a patented weave. Also, a brand new hoodie runs up to $150. 2 yards approximately is required to make a hoodie. I have been getting the asking price on other sites. I have the grey and the multi colored fabric available right now.

@strawberrygnome thanks for your reply. Glad you are getting your asking price but I am not willing to pay and still have the time in making the garment. I will be watching to see you sold out soon. Thanks again

Buongiorno Signorina,
Per favore, can you advise if this is a KNIT or a WOVEN?

@enzo4u
Appalachian Gear Company's fabric is knitted, specifically using a weft knit construction. The company has emphasized that it developed its own specialized knitting process for its alpaca fiber garments. This unique knit structure is designed for exceptional performance and durability.

@dmangiapane it is Peruvian Alpaca

@dmangiapane Cashmere is from the Cashmere Goat, it is a more delicate fiber whereas Alpaca is used for insulating one in colder weather.
