Anthropologie Jasper and Jeera embellished slide sandals

New, unworn slide sandals from Anthropologie. I missed the return window and they are far too small for me. They have size 40 printed on the bottom. I wear a 9.5 and can't get my foot into them (even after significant weight loss). I think a size 8 or 8.5 would be able to wear these. There's a very small bit of elastic (as shown on the side photo).
