A Bit of History:
The Anchor Hocking Early American Prescut (EAPC) double taper candle holder was primarily produced from 1960 through the late 1970s. While some specific pieces from this pattern continued to be made into the 1990s and beyond, the double taper candle holder is most strongly associated with the 1960s production period.
Anchor Hocking, originally Hocking Glass Company, was founded in 1905 in Lancaster, Ohio, by Isaac J. Collins. The company was named after the Hocking River. In 1937, Hocking Glass merged with the Anchor Cap and Closure Corporation, forming Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation. The "Early American Prescut" (EAPC) pattern, also known as "Prescut," was a popular glassware line produced by Anchor Hocking, particularly from the 1960s onward.
I do have other lovely candle holders listed if interested.
