Flocking is used for smooth and velvety textured graphics. As for the graphic itself of which it comprises, that is called a patch, appliqué, or appliqué patch interchangeably. This specific patch is a HTV high-pile flock appliqué, which is hard to come by in modern fashion ever since they were all the rage in the 70’s and 90’s. This designer garment uses premium grade flock.
