They have been used as seen on the wheels but extremely durable. ⚠️Note: according to present day standards, these skates are not as safe as new skates would be but could perhaps be modified. The metal appears to be stainless steel and aluminum, so still high quality and well made in comparison to newer skates. As you can see, the box shows lots of damage but the skates look virtually brand new except for discoloration on the wheels from use. But advised to be more of a decorative item or for the collector.
