The frame is solid brass or bronze and adorned with flower design typical of Art Nouveau period. I think made in France or Europe around the 1960's as a replica for the Art Nouveau period. It is free standing, solid and heavy with a real quality feel to it. All castings have good detail and the brass is nicely patinated.
