This forest green vest is perfectly suited for an elf, fairy or medieval fantasy character, with its whimsical cut and long pointed hood.
Hand sewn out of flax linen scraps I acquired from Armstreet, so it's breathable, durable and authentic-looking. It laces up the front (a black satin ribbon is included but could easily be replaced with a different color/cord). Slightly fitted at the waist, with large roomy armholes for ease of movement (you never know when you might need to reach for your sword or bow!). Hood is generously oversized (so you can disappear inside it when necessary), with a long liripipe.
Size is somewhat adjustable with the front lacing. I'm usually a medium, 5'9" and it fits me. (Could also fit a small.) The mannequin in the photos has a 34.5" bust and 25.5" waist. I also measured with the vest lying flat, please see photos.
The handmade nature of this garment means not every stitch will look machine-perfect. It also means this piece is one of a kind, and no one else at the ren faire will be wearing one like it!
Please don't hesitate to message me if you have any questions.

Hi I'm interested in this item but am most definitely a size Large. I am 5'8" and have a tendency of most things falling too short on me. Is it possible for you to post pictures of you wearing it so I can get an idea of if this will fit me or not? Thank you so much.

Also is this 16 1/2 inches wide at the narrowest point on the waist? It's just a bit hard to read that measuring tape in the picture. Thanks again.

@leez1 Hello! I've updated the listing with some pics of me wearing it. For reference, I'm 5'9" and a size medium (B cup). The waist is 16.5" at the narrowest point. (My own waist is 32.5" if that helps.) There would be *some* leeway as far as sizing because of the laces, depending on how much of a gap you'd want in the front. Thanks for your interest & please let me know if I can answer any more questions. :)
