I reported a jewelry store here that sells costume jewelry - I saw a section of bags & they had so many MK fake bags & were selling them for $50! I asked for the mgr & asked him if they were real & he said yes then told him i know they weren't & it was against the law & they not so kindly asked me to leave

stephie2212 I unfortunately got scammed on a internet site that goes by Michael Kors Outlet. It was late at night and I just needed a MK purse, there are MK Outlets but they even are still pricey. I thought I hit it big, should have done my research first there all over scam and rep off reports online. My bank called me the next morning to ask if I made a purchase for $300 to Singapore. That's when I knew right then I got got! Don't even think about arguing with the company about getting a refund bc they send them anyway saying they are real and of course with no return address. Not much you can do when your scammed from out of states Michael Kors Outlet NONO ladies!!!!

I've googled it many times & can't find any comparisons on wallets just on handbags. Can you help with that? In Particular I'm curious about the mirrored & metallic wallets & his to tell the difference? Especially if an item does not have a new sales tag.

flowersup2 @charms342 I've read somewhere that new fake MK bags have the plastic safety cover that you peal off on top of the gold logos, but that real MK products never have that clear plastic covering? Is that true?? Seams to me that any new product would have plastic covering the metal logos for protection

charmingdawn @jen2rodriguez I will research about wallets but for plastic cover issue I'm trying to remember my mk purses if they came with that protective layer. I don't usually see it on the authentic one in stores but I can't guarantee that anything with a plastic cover is fake.

pattilabella @jen2rodriguez I don't recall ever peeling off one of those plastic covers over anything - all the MK charms or hardware I've seen are covered by a thin, spongy styrofoam. I have 2 new MK bags that still have the protective covers. One has a thin paper covering with a white tape strip & the other has the spongy cover.

lucy_helwig @charms342 this is really great! The experts with Posh, they need to see this. I bought a wallet from a seller here on Posh. I knew the moment I had it in my hands, it was fake...long story short...I had to send photos, which I'm not good at taking but I explain with each photo, why the wallet was fake...down to the fact that it was made of pleather. I could believe it but the MK "Specialist" determined it was real. I through it in the trash! Posh's "specialist" needs to see this! 😀

debrabelcher I'm new to Michael Kors and I recently ordered a double zip wallet. it looks authentic but I don't see the black tag on the inside. could this be a fake? All hardware has Michael kors engraved. the letters are in line on the front and the stitching is even. it's only missing that production tag inside. the price tag also doesn't have the numbers above the left of the bardcode as I've seen. I'm just wanting to be sure before I rate my seller and release payment. I appreciate your time.
