If posh is big enough to become a publicly traded company, they should be able to keep up with this type of demand. I can see if this happened one time... but a second time ... becomes a shame on them situation.

thelouisgasm @puppamonster Ebay gives their sellers a free $25 in coupons per quarter to sellers w/ a store. It benefits ebay to have their sellers reinforce the ebay brand. The same should be applied to Posh. At least that’s my 2 cents. I do love posh but there’s clearly some growing pains.

puppamonster @thelouisgasm here’s the thing pm wants us to stay on this site 24/7. Um but well LIFE. The growing pains should have ended by now. It’s ok if all of this stuff stays out of stock. I have plenty of packing materials from eBay. I am new to pm and expected to need tissue paper thank you notes etc so bought them before I listed. The sad thing is I have made several purchases on pm & not 1 seller did the tissue and thank you notes.

I think it should be taken a step further and @Poshfixings should take a page from eBay's CRM program: give your top sellers/Ambassadors a quarterly "bonus/allowance" to be used towards "Fixin's"... It's FREE MARKETING and adds in a loyalty reward element for sellers that feed off of incentives.....

You are forgetting that eBay is a PAY FOR PLAY platform where there are several hidden costs and a big upfront cost. eBay listings cost money. Even if you’re a store seller, there is a store subscription fee every month, even BEFORE you sell a THING.

They can’t give away supplies too. If you have an issue with something besides wanting feee supplies, you can message them through the app or DM them on Twitter or Instagram. These platforms allow you to be your own business and sell to millions of people across the country and the world. There are literally millions of eyes on your products BECAUSE these platforms exist. I get 1099'ed from Poshmark and others: 1099 only goes out to contractors that sell over a certain amount.

thelouisgasm @shopofthemoment If you're an independent contractor, you get a 1099 form. If you're an employee, you receive a W-2. As a W-2 employee, payroll taxes are automatically deducted from your paycheck and then paid to the government through your employer. I'm sorry you are so hostile.

piggyann1960 I don't feel it's right to reserve any of the items in Poshfixings. It's very difficult to buy anything as it sells out so fast. I also feel it's wrong for people to buy the items and sell them at a higher price. I'm still new to Poshmark and I have yet to be able to purchase anything from Poshfixings. It seems the same people buy up everything then selling for a profit. It's just not right.
