Collected from a WWII-era button assortment, these pieces reflect the United States’ wartime shift to resin “economy” materials.

Both feature the Great Seal of the United States in molded relief, produced in hard resin with loop shanks instead of metal construction. These buttons were commonly used on civilian jackets, workwear, and patriotic apparel during the 1940s.
