1997 4038 Iggy Iguana Incorrect Rainbow Tie-Dye Plush Ty Beanie Baby MWMT

This is Iggy style #4038. This rainbow tie-dyed version of Iggy has the incorrect fabric. He has the fabric color of Rainbow the Chameleon. The correct fabric for Iggy is blue w/ green. So that's a cool mistake for this cute lil guy! Iggy was introduced on 12/31/1997 and retired 9 months later on 10/01/1998. A great plush, whether you're a collector or not! This pastel/rainbow tie-dye version looks different from every angle. And one eye is pink, the other is green! The poem on his swing tag reads: "Sitting on a rock, basking in the sun Is this iguana’s idea of fun Towel and glasses, book and beach chair His life is so perfect without a care!" Always kept in a non-smoking environment, Iggy is in mint condition with a mint tag that has been kept in a tag protector. He has another tag along with his tush tag, which I've never seen before. I took photos of this tag just so there wouldn't be any surprises. (I did a little research and apparently this is a rarity - this Iggy has dual tush tags "Limited Production Dual U.S. / Canadian Tush Tags". So, this of course adds to the collectible value, as does the incorrect fabric. All the rainbow Iggy's I saw for sale were in the thousands of dollars, which I think is ridiculous.
