1970s Blue Stone Necklace

Beautiful blue and brown stone set in silver tone metal on a silver tone metal chain. I think this is a piece of agate but I am not completely sure. The stone appears to have been glued in in the 70s and the adhesive has darkened over time. There is no evidence of glue on the front of the necklace pendant. Good vintage condition
