1950s OOAK Copper Enamel Clip On Earrings Retro Round Modernist Abstract MCM

Abstract OOAK (one of a kind) modernist enamel on copper clip on earrings. Copper enamel is basically copper coated in a layer of glass. Very popular in the 1950s and that is likely when these were made. The color of these look different depending on what they are up against & lighting but looks most accurate (by my monitor settings) in the first photo, which is natural light. They are a deep forest green background with red, gold and purple spots overlaying the green. Great gift for the MCM or unique jewelry lover - there wont be another just like them. Ships in a new jewelry gift box, great for gifting or storage. Size: Earring is 7/8" w. Condition: Excellent, no chips, there is a crack in the enamel where the gold enamel spot is, I believe this is part of now it was made and not damage but I wanted to mention it. I dont think these have ever been worn. Keats said "A thing of beauty is a joy forever". Each of us has a different idea of what "beauty" is.
