1940's vintage black calot hat by Pinehurst Fifth Avenue New York / Crowley’s New York featuring intricate hand beading in organic swirling patterns with jet black beads accented by contrasting black/silver beadwork. The sculptural perched silhouette and dimensional beadwork create an elegant cocktail hat with strong mid-century glamour. Constructed with a black wool base, this hat features an interior support band designed to help secure placement while worn atop the crown of the head. Marked size 22. Measurements— Approximate Circumference: 22" Please note this hat is designed to perch atop the head rather than fit like a traditional full-coverage hat.
