“Greetings from staging at the War Eagles Museum in Santa Teresa, New Mexico! I’m a vintage 1940 Grumman Goose Wings of Texaco model bank, fourth in series. Created in 1996, my die-cast metal coin bank is highly detailed with landing gear & rotating propellers. Model plane in excellent condition; box in fair condition with writing on the end and some wear. The Grumman Goose delivered a top speed of 205 m.p.h. and a maximum range of 1150 miles. Built for hard service & heavy loads, it handled rough waters gracefully despite its portly appearance.”
