This pendant was worked by a master! The detail work (raising the stone for more impact) is terrific. About the stone - my mineral identification app says it is turquoise, but to me it looks like Celadon. Celadon is unlikely because it is usually seen in jewelry from the far East. It is valued because of Celadon’s resemblance to jade. It looks more like jade to me. Whatever it is, it is lovely with almost a liquid appearance. In some photos the sterling setting appears golden. That is because I am a poor photographer. The metal is a pure silver. I usually ship the next business day after receipt of the order.
