This Tomte is named Eowyn, which means “horse of joy”. He was born on May 5, 2023 in a small house on the Providence River. Tomtes (or Gnomes) are a traditional character for Nordic countries. Naturally mischievous, the tradition is to leave treats out for them to prevent little Tomtes from getting into too much trouble. These Tomtes are hand crafted with mostly natural materials. Wood body, face and nose with hand painted eyes with a mischievous twinkle. Sheepskin body, rabbit fur feet, and stocking hat pompom. Hat is made from various materials, a marble base with a felt pad to protect surfaces. Hand crafted in a smoke free home and workshop. This is not a toy for children.
