Vintage NWT Murray Merkley XV Olympic Winter Games Wool Winter Cap

Very cool winter cap or beanie, new with original tags. The tag reads Murray Merkley Official License XV Olympic Winter Games which would have been 1989. This is 100% Virgin Wool with a non-itch cotton liner. Braided tassel. One size fits all. There is some fuzziness to the design as the red has lifted a little and is frizzy. The white and the blue wool have not done this and I almost wonder if it's either the type of wool for the red is meant to be that way or if the dye has affected it differently. Still a very cool hat and very patriotic.
