FURTHER INFORMATION:
In the 1950s, Luca Razza (Raz-Mer Casting) began creating raw castings for Weiss, Rice-Weiner, Alice and other jewelers. Later in the decade, after his tenure with Coro, he left to form Ronnie Jewelry in 1958. There he made pieces for Capri, Carnegie, Kramer, Marvella and Pakula and his former employer, Coro. He created a process that molded plastics or resins to closely resemble faux stones.
Razza elephant pendants are believed to depict the Indian god Ganesha, the supreme deity of Hinduism. Ganesha is the god of new beginnings and remover of obstacles. He is often held to be the god responsible for business and commerce. In India, his statue is usually seen near the checking in desk of hotels.

Look on the back of tusks….should be signed. :)

@junglefun thanks! I had looked there already, but no mark. I read that some of the Luca Razza pieces had not been marked.

@ekostyl they usually are. This may have been altered. Underneath the gold backing is where the loops for the necklace and signature would be. It’s in good condition though.

@junglefun it should be. The back was altered sadly. It may be signed underneath the gold pierced back that was added to it
