Vintage Christian Dior Gold Tone Faceted Rhinestone/Black Enamel Clip Earrings

Vintage Christian Dior gold tone clip earrings. Each has four highly faceted rhinestones set in a gold tone bezel with a black enamel center cross divider. They each measure approx. 3/4" x 5/8". Christian Dior jewelry usually places the hallmark stamp on the closure. On these earrings the hallmark is stamped on each ear clip. During the 1960s and 70s, the hallmark became "Chr.Dior." as on these earrings. One of the earrings is missing the plastic pad as seen in the photos. The pad is not necessary for wearing the earrings. The clips work well and are secure without the pad. However, the pad also has the Chr. Dior hallmark, which is best seen with a loupe. Other than the one missing pad on one earring, these are in overall very good condition. Circa early 1960s.
