Seymour FOX Vintage 50s Winter Coat, Woven in France

Vintage 1950s SEYMOUR FOX double-breasted plus-size dress coat with fur collar. Woven in France by Felix Vercel exclusively for Seymour Fox. A stunning ladies overcoat, this merino wool classic has a ribbed chocolate brown outer shell, two deep side pockets, two-tone satin lining and six front buttons. Not labelled with a size. Believed to be a 20-22 W based on measurements. Measures 18.5" shoulder to shoulder; 26" pit to pit; 28" hip to hip; 17" sleeve; 42" from collar to bottom hem. Good vintage condition. Little collar wear (pictured) that's hidden when buttoned. The final photos featured here were taken of a friend wearing the coat during an impromptu photoshoot I styled a few years ago, where her hat and the coat's amazing fur collar were the primary focus.
