Beautiful and timeless, jade is highly desired across the globe. But how do you know if it’s real? Here’s a few tips. Pick it up, real jade feels cool to the touch. If you tap two pieces together you will hear a ding like two glasses of crystal clinking together. If you were to clink 2 fake bracelets together they would make a clunk not a ding sound. Other ways to test your Jade for authenticity is to use a black light or strong flashlight to see if it is translucent in any areas and if so can you see natural formations of veins, or mineral deposits?
