Piped velcro strap. They have a soft cotton lining and a flexible, lightweight outer sole with non-slip rubber pads. New, in box, however lid has cracks. Some minor staining from unknown source. Unlikely noticeable when worn, as I missed this when I listed them. Otherwise, never worn or used.
