Jonathan Anderson first debuted the basket bag at Loewe's 2017 runway show, and it's become synonymous with the Spanish house ever since. This directional take on the classic style is constructed entirely from tubular leather instead of traditional wicker and is intricately twisted to create a woven effect. It's finished with sculptural rounded handles and the label's 'Anagram' logo. The Tubular Basket tote combines padded tubes in nappa lambskin with the traditional silhouette of the basket bag and a solid calfskin base. Each basket takes between 13 and 24 hours to handcraft with each leather tube filled by hand before being woven together and secured with calfskin strings.
