In "play" condition but still have lift left in them. Velcro is intact and works great. There is some slight “buckling” (not sure what else to call it) of the leather around the toe. When I put my hand inside I can feel a slight inward bulge. Never bothered my son. Also some slight separation of the leather from the sole on the outside of the left shoe. The leather could use some cleaning and treatment - it has been done before but it has been a little while. My son loved these shoes while they fit him. Great for all seasons.
