Vintage Village Boy 51 3/0 Ceramic Pre-1990 (1979-1990 Trademark) Measures 4” Tall There are no cracks, chips, or repairs; there is a small mark on his left cheek. Made in W. Germany (before the Berlin Wall came down) Signed In the countryside of Bavaria, this young boy, dressed in traditional lederhosen and boots, is often seen on his way back and forth to the village marketplace. Carrying his woven basket, he walks along a familiar cobblestone street that will take him to his destination. Once he arrives at the market, he collects fresh vegetables, baked goods, and meats for his family’s dinner. Village Boy was first modeled in 1936 by master sculptor Arthur Moeller.
