The buttons appear very shiny in one of the photos due to direct lighting, but they are just ordinary black buttons. (See closeup of the extra button attached inside the coat.) All buttons are secure. Extra button included. This coat has been worn very little, and has not been worn at all since it was dry cleaned. Lightly used coat in excellent condition with one flaw: There’s a small cut (measures about 1/4” to 3/8”across) in the fabric near the cuff on left sleeve which is not very obvious when wearing the coat. It’s not moth damage, it’s a clean cut into the wool outer fabric; see photos showing this flaw just above the safety pin. It’s not noticeable when fabric lies flat, but it can be seen by stressing / folding the cuff to make the cut open up. Last 2 photos show this cut lying flat, and then with the flap of fabric lifted.
