Vogue Couturier Design 1119; ca. 1974 misses dress Designed by Valentino, an Italian luxury fashion house founded in 1960 by Valentino Garavani and part of the Valentino Fashion Group. Hand sewn Features: One Piece Dress Four front buttons Two front pockets Semi-sheer Hand sewn Back zipper with hook This is a vintage item, there are some stains on the middle front of the dress. Cotton Muslin Has decorative piping on the inside of the sleeves and hem of dress. Approximate measurements: Waist: 28 inches Length: 34 inches Armpit to armpit is 18 inches Hips when flat: 20 inches This is a hand sewn Vintage Vogue Paris Original sewing pattern design created by Valentino, hand sewn by a dressmaker. It is a semi-fitted, slightly A-line dress in slightly below mid-knee length, has jewel neckline and front-buttoned closing with self-bias piping trim. Bodice and skirt gathered to waistline stay (slightly raised at front and tapering to neutral waistline at back), welt pockets, short sleeves and back zipper closing.
