Vintage Chinese Porcelain Koi Teapot

Very rare. Vintage Chinese teapot or kettle, with traditional carp or koi art. Koi are a symbol of good fortune and strength, and are a commonly-seen symbol in Chinese art. This artwork is very simple and clean, just a koi illustration on both sides and blue accent striping or edging. There is also a small blue starburst on the lid. Based on the bottom china mark, this piece was probably manufactured in the 1960s–70s, or possibly earlier. Please inlarge and inspect all photos before purchasing.
