VINTAGE LENCA INDIAN HONDURAS HANDMADE BLACK & "ALBASTOR" LOOK POT OR SMALL VASE

This is a piece of handmade pottery from the Lenca Indians in Honduras. Making this particular type of pottery is a craft that is handed down from generation to generation. The clay piece is fired using low-temperature wood ovens After it has cured for over 22 days the artisan hand rubs and polishes the stone to produce this end result. It is a matte like black finish "over" an "alabaster" looking lighter finish. A really beautiful tribal piece of pottery. It is 5" high. 4" wide at the top lip About 5" wide overall All the products are packed carefully and are in the same condition as advertised in the store and shown in the pictures.
