Monroe Salt Works Maine Crow Lug Handle Chowder Soup Bowl Vintage Stoneware MSW

Vintage Monroe Salt Works (MSW) black crow lug-handle chowder soup bowl hand-made in Monroe, Maine, USA. This salt-glazed, stoneware pottery bowl is sturdy and a beautiful example of American folk art. It has a design of a black crow on the bottom of the bowl and a blue rim. There are two lug handles. This bowl measures 6 1/2" diameter at the top (not including handles) and 2 1/2" tall. This bowl is in good pre-owned condition. There is a small blemish on the rim as shown in the last photo (a tiny, needlepoint-sized pock mark). There is likely light wear on some of the edges; they aren't perfectly smooth. This will be packed with care and shipped promptly.
