Hello Poshers, Here is my first dog Patti-Cake. My mom named her that because we got her on St Patrick's Day. She was only 5 lbs. She became more of a therapy pet over the years for me. And even though she was my mom's dog I kidnapped her and said nope she's mine now and she's going to stay in my bed LOL. She knew me as Sissy cuz I was her sister. Thus my nickname Sissy Sue. This day I happen to fall asleep with her in my arms. What was really funny is I forgot she was a hound dog. She was a beagle. So one day I decided teach her how to howl. And so I start making the noise...and I'm literally howling lol And then all of the sudden she finally howled And when she did it , she made a jerk with her body because she startled herself!!! LOL It was just precious ohh so precious!!! 🥰

chrissiesusie @awesometown23 Oh yeah, where I live.We have two cats that have sort of and we all feed them. And we had a bird feeder for a while and we were watching all the cardinals and blue jays come by it was nice

awesometown23 @chrissiesusie I have always been super partial to cats. I have been this way my whole life! Now that I live in the country,I am learning about birds and how much peace they give me. I have a family of crows that I feed off away from the other birds. They talk to me from the trees!

awesometown23 @chrissiesusie it really is so very special to gain the love and respect from a family of crows. I had no idea how big and majestic they are ! They are so very smart and you can absolutely communicate with them! I love all the birds ,but crows are kings of the woods! They really are! They will hunt a hawk down! Also, do you know that if you are kind or evil to one ,the rest of their offspring will be born with that same love or hate for you? I am telling you,they are so special!

awesometown23 @chrissiesusie It’s ok! I understand what you mean. The crows will escort an evil hawk out by surrounding him in flight. The top crow kicks it from above while the other is under its wing and pushes up. It sends the hawk into a death spiral killing it. Don’t ever harm a crow. You can actually make friends with them!

chrissiesusie @awesometown23 Thank you, honey, it gets hard at times you know, with the repetition and the forgetting she does, but you know it's like you say they take care of us and then it's our turn to take care of them and I had a very good mother still do I shouldn't say had still do have a drunken mother and we've always been close. And I just enjoy spending as much time with her as I can while I still have her.

awesometown23 @chrissiesusie I like my wine too. Interesting that you say something about a drunken mother. My mom put me and my brother through hell. We were estranged when she died of cirrhosis. Even though she put us through all of that,I miss her every day. Believe me when I say…I UNDERSTAND. Much love ! Think of me when you see those old crows out there! They warn us of prey and they also warn other wildlife of hunters. They love unsalted peanuts in the shell

awesometown23 @chrissiesusie I also boil eggs and cut them into halves with shell on. They also love scrambled eggs. When we moved here,I immediately started on a family of crows. It’s been a year. In two years I should be able to get them to come down to me! Can’t wait!

cozyshop76 @awesometown23 I feed the 🐿 peanuts, though recently read to only give ( raw unsalted & un-roasted) to wildlife, hard to find! I share your love ❤️ of wildlife and crows too;)
