Berkeley calligrapher Diva Pyari was inspired by vintage flash cards to create each unique plate. Measuring 6.5” in diameter, this stoneware plate has a hand drawn water-colored oyster shell, complete with a rare pearl inside. Priceless indeed. Delicately colored in hues of yellow, pink, grey and cocoa, Pyari’s masterful calligraphy anchors the design with the word, “priceless.” The back of the plate has the original price tag and the edge of the plate is a bit rough, like the ceramic was scratched. This is the back of the plate. The front of the plate has two small parts that appear to be unglazed. See pic where each scissor point shows the imperfections.
