1900's Bathing Suit / Costume Victorian Bathing Suit Size Lg.

Wow!! fashion has changed. This suit is a far cry from what we see today at the beach. In the 1900's two piece bathing costumes had replaced the earlier styles. Still cumbersome,but it was more practical and more attractive than earlier bathing clothes. This costume is a two-piece. The top has a sailor collar and is trimmed blue and red. Bloomers are knee-length also blue, and red trim. The cuff at the bottom of the bloomers is ajustable and can be pulled up higher for a more resque look(Oolala). Comes with a cute bathing hat also blue trimmed with red. This costume is made from cotton (originally, these suits were made from wool). This costume is restyled by me from an 80s dress, It's not a cheap costume made in China. 3 piece costume *Top pit to pit 24in has raglan sleeve and shoulder pads Length from shoulder 16in *Bloomers waist elastic 32in and streahes out to 38in.
